If it is a good manual then they should be able to hold the price but if it turns out only average then the discounts will come I'm sure.

The last contact I had about ten days ago never mentioned any discount. I phoned them and asked why and the reason given was we don't know if we are giving car clubs a discount on this book. It seems reading between the lines that the book will be popular and they won't need to give a discount. I am still trying but don't hold your breath on this one. It looks like even Amazon are selling at the full price so I am not confident.

I am still trying and am awaiting a reply but not looking hopeful on this. Looks like I will be getting mine from Amazon but never say die.

Question

Am I right in thinking that this book does not include the V8 models ?
(Not that I have a V8, sadly)

Rather than wait I have ordered mine too from Amazon.

Not really sure why as I'm useless and all the answers are on this site anyway!!

Apparently after to speaking to Haynes customer services department this morning the reason for the delay in publishing this manual is due to large overseas order from someones favourite nanny an Nan Jing who lives in China.

The want to know how the car is built?

Probably the same reason I have, browsing through yet another book on our favourite toys, littered with pictures and pointy arrows.

Nice cover picture as well
