There is also a code for bank 1 sensor 1 heater circuit malfunction in the book I have which is p0135 so maybe they both have heaters? Will it be further back well after the cat or nearby?

As this is a Rover 75 & MG ZT forum people with knowledge and enthusiasm for Peugeots will tend to be thin on the ground!

Your best bet would be to post your question on Peugeot Central or Peugeot Forums where I am sure you will get more response.

Good Luck

Maybe they do! The sensor will only be a few inches behind the cat I'd have thought.

Been asking on a 406 specific forum and there is hardly any enthusiasm on there either, prob a pug thing lol!

It looks like sensor 2 anyhow which I managed to completly miss while searching for the part, could have sworn it only listed a front one too

Please don't take it as a dead cert it'll fix it, I know very little about Peugeots.

I wont. It does look that way though as replacing the current one made no difference to the lumpy idle and the fault light came back on. I just thought it had one only which is prob why I am getting nowhere.

NGK only list and supply a front sensor (regulating) and not a rear (diagnostic) But bosch list both which is where I went wrong as NTK are cheaper.

Thanks for you help anyhow it is much appreciated. And I hope to have a 75 or zt cdti auto again some time in the future as I really regret selling the one I had
