My only experience of this was the well documented fuel filter prob - engine turned over but wouldn't fire and no warning lights. Do you have any warning lights on the panel or any other gremlins? The plenum is a good one to check - there's a recent post somewhere with problems and a wet ECU was what it finally boiled down to?

Hi Guy's
Many thanks to all for responding l have checked the plenum this morning but all is dry, will take another look into the fuel filter problem, no warning messages on panel except from the normal at start-up. As mentined l did look at the fuel filter yesterday but all seemed tight, petrol showing a 1/4 full, but looked ok in the tank when l lifted the filter. |

Same happened to me. Have a closer look at the filter canister where the pipe goes into the top as the torque movement can seperate the cap only slightly which can be enough
