Certainly the single pipe looks like the option to go for. Well done Wullie for your efforts to date!

A little confused by what exactly you are going for now with these hoses, sorry "it's an age thing"!
Are we now looking at the DPH set up with the associated costs? I would most defintely be interested in silicon replacements, my R75 is 12/2033 (2004 model) CDTi without the additional sensor in the hose so it is a single hose from cooler to the EGR valve. Also are we looking at the other hose from Turbo to the cooler, shown I think as PNH101771 on Rimmers drawings. Most talk is about the outlet hose from the cooler so not sure if this inlet hose to the cooler also gives problems but as it is before the cooler it should be subjected to more heat and be even more prone to failure or "bulging". Please could my name be added to the list as I have already had to cut the end of my hose iwo the EGR clamp area after it softened and cut through. Thanks to all for their excellent work in this, especially Wullie for diligently following up all the leads and chasing the manufactureres ect. it's what makes this such a good forum to be with, in fact the best ther is around imho. Thanks Dennis |

Cheers for the thanks guys,
To clear a few things up on this nothing has been decided yet with who will be supplying or making these hoses. I originally started looking at getting a forum discount on the parts to make the hose in pieces and also asked about getting single piece hoses manufactured which to be honest would be the best option for these, Pretty much all the companies I contacted all replied with prices including discount for multiple buys of the parts needed. Some of the companies replied with a rough quote for one piece hoses but would be able to quote better upon receipt of a sample at the same time they also supplied a quote for the tooling that would need to be made up to manufacture these, The tooling cost would need to be split with fellow members via a group buy so the cost was covered. The guy I have been mostly emailing back & forth has given a pretty reasonable quote for these but will give an exact price upon receipt of a sample hose, (quote has been one of the cheapest with out tooling costs). There has been no mention of tooling costs or group buys I'm under the impression he will be selling these via his website for anybody to purchase, He is currently off work on family matters and says he will be back in touch shortly so I'm hoping to hear something back next week. Hope the above makes some sense.

A big thanks Wullie for your concerted efforts in trying to get a company to produce a pipe, this is really much appreciated and will be of great help to many on here
Kind regards, Marc
