Update
I have received a message from the guy I have been dealing with saying he is on leave due to family matters,
Says he will be in touch soon so guess a week or so before he gets back to me, I did originally contact a few suppliers and sellers about a group buy or manufacturing these most replied but there prices were over the top along with minimum order sizes, There was one company also interested in making these but tooling had to be paid for in advance I'll post there email at the end of this reply. The guy I have been dealing with hasn't mentioned minimum orders I believe he will be selling these on his website for anyone to buy I have a rough price but waiting till he gets the hose for a proper quote. http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/gallery.asp is the company I have been dealing with, He asked for a sample hose for purposes of quoting & tooling I have asked he gives a quote before making any as if it's expensive members wouldn't possible purchase. This was another companies reply which is also an option but I believe will be more expensive than the above, The cost for the parts you require is as follows... 1 X Hose set with clips = £77.45 + VAT 10 X Hose set with clips = £72.45 + VAT 25 X Hose set with clips = £68.45 + VAT That is if you had it made out of universal parts. The second option you may be interested in is to have a tool made which does have an initial cost however over time it would work out worthwhile. The hose could then be made in one nice piece with no joiners which would look much better. A price for the tooling would be £149.50 + vat (you would own the tooling) Then a price for the hose would be £54.95 + vat. *Cost of tooling not included in the price*

Thanks for that research Wullie .
Silicone is much more expensive than people think, and that is why they were not fitted as OEM. Come to think of it, the 260 uprated hose was about £25 IIRC five years ago and that is 1/4 of the size of this intercooler hose! I would always favour the OEM look & made from one piece and in Black!! Non of your boy racer bright blue or red colours Take a look at the prices here as examples. Some MGR prices on page 5. http://www.samcosport.com/uk/downloa...4%20Sheet1.pdf

Just glanced at this thread so apologies if I have missed something.
Approached DPH (Derby Performance Hoses) and they made me a complete set for my GTE. Some were off the shelf which helps but I gave measurements for all the hoses i.e internal diameters and lengths etc plus one in particular that was bespoke and had to be made to my spec. (80cm long, 12mm at one end and 15mm at the other). That one hose was £28 but the entire set was £77 plus postage. Bargain I think as my underbonnet is now full of blue hoses and no more perishing to worry about. If you know the sizes of all your hoses or take the time to find out then they will help you make up a set. Better still, get all the hoses off a scrap car and post them!! Little chance of a mistake as they are no longer relying on you for measurements. Can't fault their service and I was happy with the price.

I would advise for the intercooler hose to be copied from a brand new as they go way out of shape

Artic has kindly donated a hose which he has said is a decent one so should be ok.
I'll give DPH a shout as well just to see what there prices would be like.

Contacted DPH as recommended by victorgte below is there response.
Hi Wullie, thanks for your message. These days we generally list the hoses at bottom line as is to be as cometetive as possible against the imported silicone hose. Problem is this doesn't leave us room for improvement, I have priced the parts below for you: 2x 57mm, 90, £13.00 / £26 1x 57mm, 45, £13.00 2x 57mm, alloy joiner £5 / £10 We supply the heavy duty bolt clamp instead of the jubille type which are £2 each. It may more interesting for you to look at developing the hose as a single piece. We would need to develop a mandrel to make the hose which would be around £200 + vat for the one off tooling cost. The hose itself would cost around the same as purchasing the above parts individually. Depending on how many people are interested the tooling cost may be viable. Thanks Gareth.
