Help VIS problem
just taken out my balance vis motor, shaved a tiny bit off the butterfly inside as it was sticking made sure it was reseting and put it back together, when it start's up its a little rough but it starts and runs (there is no air leak) but as soon as i touch the accelerator the engine cuts out! PLEASE HELP.

You didnt unplug anything did you like the map sensor maybe as this can cause this type of problem?

only the connection on the Vis motor itself. its really rough running and the engine stalls very easily,

could shaving the plastic butterfly cause this. its almost like there is an air leak but there isnt!

I shouldnt think so as the valve is in the open position when the engine is started so a gap shouldnt make any difference. You did put the rubber seal back on around the back of the motor?

As said position of butterfly should have no effect, They do run without them in
Only thing I can think of in that area is what Ian said, check you have not lost the rubber seal

run it without the butterfly in, done the same, greased it up put it back together put the vis motor back in and no more problem??? strange! Just been for a run round the road and its running like a dream! Havn't a clue what it was but all seems ok now. ****** car. lol

nope. lol. just alot of others!
im stumped, i would liked to know what it was. but im certinally not taking it apart to find out! i doubt it was the rubber seal, it was in fine, and is brand new
