Morning Phil, I'm in the garden making the most of this dry weather, I'm not feeling too bad today so I will make the most of it. I've cut the Pampas grass down in the front garden so no more swinging for me until next year

I'm mowing the lawns & replacing a broken pane of glass in the greenhouse.

I'm hoping the posty is bringing me some more tomato seeds today as most of the ones I planted last month have not germinated yet !!! Some of those frosts we had must have knocked them back.

Im still working Phil, after the announcement last night I was going to shut down, but after looking at things again I am still able to work as its essential for me to earn money and provide food for the family, so until I am told to stop its business ss usual.

Morning all - it's bright, sunny and would be pretty warm if wasn't for the blasted wind which seems to have been blowing for the last 12 months. I've just been doing my morning ring round of family, friends and neighbours to see if everyone is OK. Virgin Media have given me unlimited minutes on my mobile, FOC, so I might as well use them
First mini crisis overcome - the old lady next door rang to say she couldn't get her heating to come on - the remote thermostat wasn't working, and she couldn't find the instruction manual. So, armed with a photo of the remote which she emailed me, and a hunt via Google, I managed to track down the manual - download it, print it out and stick it through her letterbox

That's me finished with gardening now, I'm cream crackered, Potted a load of onion sets & garlic cloves. The damn latch on the side gate snapped & I've had to tie that shut with a zip tie for now. I'll have to order one from ebay or something.

I did test the letterbox first to check that the spring mechanism wasn't too fierce
