Boy has that wind picked up! Some of the gusts feel like the conservatory roof is going to lift off, it's deafening in here with the rain.

Hmm ... yes. I suppose that is a spelk on life's banister which all of us will encounter from time to time as we slide down it. But we can only hope and pray that the finial which awaits our arrival on the top of the bottom newel post is as kind to us as it is to some.

Evening everyone, still raining heavily here with strong winds, The missus has just rang from Tebay services on their way back from Scotland, they're taking a break there as the winds are buffeting the car like crazy.


Sausage casserole was good if I say so meself I might pog a large whiskey from her booze cupboard before they get back.
