Head gasket ?
Did the later models of the 1.8 engine have the multi-layered head gasket already fitted ? I am sure I read somewhere they did

I asked Terry at TS Autos about this being the case on Facelift Rover 25's, as I was looking at one in a local garage, and the garage owner told me it had a factory fitted upgraded head gasket.
Terry said he was talking nonsense, so I didn't buy it. |

Not MLS
Not factory fitted on our cars
May very well have been fitted later in life. It is worth remembering too that the MLS gasket is not always the best solution. Plenty written on here about that. Chris |
