Waxoyl for surfaces - and Dinitrol cavity wax for interior spaces.

Both administered best in dry warm weather conditions.

Waxoyl. Thin it with white spirit for spraying.kept my old fiat rust free for over 20+ years, so probably ok.

I've used a pump up garden spray, but you do need to thin it down to suit, and clean out after as it goes almost solid when all the spirit has evaporated and gums up the jets etc

and makes life hard work next time

Also put something down to catch the drips , its a bit of a messy job.

This one for me:-

The 360 dehree lance is long and thin, so you can get it in drain holes etc. and cover the inside of box sections. With the normal nozzle you get a normal spray pattern for large areas. It's very searching for all the nooks and crannies. I clean the lance and nozzles with brake cleaner or thinners.

2 tins did the rear subframe, rear arms (inside and out), inner sills, under sills, behind arch liners and front subframe on my previous 75 and still had some left to put a misting on the brake pipe run front to rear. It's VERY searching and the tendency is to use too much. It goes further than you think and will drip all over if you use too much. I put cardboard boxes down to catch the drips and it even soaked that! They do black and clear (brown) by the way.
