Default Mirrors

Hi guys do all mk 1s have heated mirrors mine are stone cold what fuse would cover this thanks

Pop the mirrors off & clean the contacts btw, all are heated

Fuse depends on which type of fuse box you have. early one is 35

( but almost certainly wont be that). check for 12v on the wires at the mirror glass, almost always dirty connections

My mirrors on my new acquisition were totally defunct and I too thought of a fuse.
But,,, I popped of the switch panel, pried it open and gave the contacts and pad switches a good Clean with tissue and IPA and hey presto!, They work perfectly on all buttons.

Seems although the contacts looked perfectly clean, a wipe with an alcohol wipe will restore their operation instantly!
