Default Halfords - Engine oil special.

Hi, I noticed earlier today, an advert on t.v. for Halfords... A range of Engine oils at the special price of £12.
Just thought that it may be of interest...

Regards, Malc.

I got eight litres of oil for my diesel for £7 from ECP a few months ago. They don't do the same deal as before but I think the oil I'm picking up tomorrow was about £20. The cheap oil I get I change every four to six months as my car has done 130K and I don't want to perform a engine flush, so regular change of oil is doing wonders with keeping the engine clean. The stuff a few months ago was decanted castrol stuff, the stuff I'm getting tomorrow is something cheap, but not overly cheap (gtx or similar).

Is it halfords own oil? What size are the containers?

That's a good price for 20 litres. Would Valvoline be a recommended brand for the 75? By members l mean, rather than the factory.

Judging by the amount of people who who went for that deal and the number that said they had missed out because their closest branch had sold out, I would say it`s OK for our cars, I got some
Ken.

I thought you could order it and collect from branch, but not have it delivered?

I managed to grab one before they all went - two left when I got to my local branch.

You could, the deal was 3 weeks ago, I only mentioned it as the OP had brought it up in his post.
However, I just checked out Barnsley & Wakefield and both stores were out.
