Default Every silver lining has a cloud..

Well, after meeting Adie this morning, and exchanging wheels for cash, we set off home from Moreton in Marsh. A couple of miles out, something clunked on the roof. Looked in mirror to see a small black object laying on the road. Turned round at the 1st opportunity, but whatever it was, was gone. Got home, no phone..... I'd left it on the roof in Moreton.

My dad did that with the day's takings when he had a business. Re-traced his journey and found the cash bag (still full!) in the side of the road!

Do consider contacting the local police, just in case.

..... and if not already tried, calling the number too. Some honest individual may be posting 'a help to find' message on Facebook now?

That's bad luck Phil. You may be lucky and have an honest person find it. I found a phone just a few weeks ago, luckily, it was unlocked and I was able to look through the numbers and found 'mum' so I called the number.......mum answered, I explained I had found the phone.
Ten minutes later the phone rang and it was the owner. I arranged a place to meet him and one phone returned, he offered me money but I wouldn't take it. It was enough to see the relief on his face when I handed it over. Good luck.

I've done that too. My phone was off when I rang it. Possibly broke when it hit the road. I've reported it to O2, and they've now locked it.
