Mine has just passed halfway to the moon, and at current rate, would take another 7 years to get there, so doubt if it ever will. But these results make me reasonably confident that I could be driving it into my dotage, reinforcing its pipe and slippers image, (barring a diesel ban). And right now, rather pleased I bought it. Am I tempting providence?

Well I've got an old one of these out the back, and if there is a diesel ban I'm converting mine to electric.

The list in the opening post is the full list yes? No 1.8s? Surely there are 1.8 engined cars that have achieved moon miles. I'm at 175,000 so about 3.5 years to go if she can survive that long..

No 1.8’s on the list as yet, although flying banana is doing his best to be the first.

What a difference a month makes. Didn’t even make Xmas let alone 3.5 years. RIP.

Really impressive what these cars have achieved, will there be a 'moon and back' sticker too?
