Y425 TOV, seemingly early Tourer spotted today at Sainsburys Chesterfield in delicious Copperleaf. Parked next to my 75 Tourer for a while. Club sticker in rear window. Will try to add pic.
Nice to see in 2020. Happy New Year to all.

I've got Y415 TOL a very early one in Copperleaf.

It's had a comprehensive 100k miles restoration to showcar standard and ready for a new owner.

PM for details

at what point is the Early tourer stop at?

mines a 260944 chassis number from May 2002, what year do the early tourers stop at ?? aware they came out may 2001.
anyone know
and whats the ratio to saloons is it 4 to 1? build numbers, because only 20000 left would mean around 5000 tourers are left

Hi guys, I’ve been reading with interest the post regarding the early 75 Tourers and if there was any information on specific cars.

I have the following information for these cars.

N269 FYA - ‘UNKNOWN UNKNOWN’ Registered 1.6.1999, 2497cc, engine number 25K4FL10116116, VIN - SPL2410AR41SDVH23 scrapped 23.4.2001

X541 JOH - ‘UNKNOWN UNKNOWN’ Registered 18.9.2000, 2497cc, engine number 25K4FM47147254 - scrapped 30.9.2010

W226 JPA - Rover 75 Classic 4dr Saloon - Silver - Registered 20.3.2000, engine number 18K4FK516014802, VIN - SARRJHLPBYM161261 - scrapped 20.5.2013

W471 CJW - Rover 75 Club SE 2.5 4dr Saloon - Green - Registered 22.3.2000, engine number 25K4FM470147256, VIN - SARRJHLPBYM159325

X941 KOX - ‘UNKNOWN UNKNOWN’ - 1994cc Petrol Estate - Registered 20.11.2000, engine number 20K4FM50152456, VIN - SPL2589AR41PL2J16. Colour change from White to Grey on 10.4.2011

X706 UOK - Rover 75 Club Tourer - 1994cc Petrol Estate - Silver - Registered 7.2.2001, engine number 20K4FL07160013, VIN - SPL2698R41PL23J80. Exported 6.2.2009

Whilst searching for these, I’ve found there was a ‘sister’ car to X541 JOH - X542 JOH. What this was used for I don’t know but it’s a 2.5 Tourer in Silver so it may have been the second 4x4 mule? If this is already known then apologies in advance.

X542 JOH - Rover 75 Tourer - 2497cc - Silver - Registered 18.9.2000, engine number 25K4FM48152951, VIN - SPL2593R41PL22J28. No scrap marker.

Y766 UHS - SARRJZTKL2D216848
Y779 LPT - SARRJSTHC2D219251

Unfortunately I’m not at liberty to divulge how I managed to get this information as the program I use isn’t widely available to the public at this time.

I hope this will be able to help fill in the blanks of some cars, I would have loved to have rescued X541 JOH before it was squashed.

Cheers.

with a ratio of 4 saloons to 1 tourer.... the tourers are going to be rare!! in Britain currently just 17600 Rover 75 are left in service.... cant be more than 3000/4000 Rover 75 tourers left in that total number.

However in saying that when i do see a passing Rover 75 its always a tourer which is odd
