I've been using this for a good while and it's very nice to see all the information (although I really ought to find out what the optimum values are so I know when they are outside that).
There were some comments about leaving it in earlier in the thread, and I had been leaving mine in as it doesn't get in my way so it's more convenient. BUT I noticed the other day that I could still find the BT id when the car was off so the device was obviously drawing some power. I had a flat battery a while back and I'm wondering whether this is the reason so I've now taken it out and will only plug it in when I'm going to use it.

Hi just bought the OBD bluetooth adaptor that was recommended here and downloaded Torque Pro on my Galaxy Samsung S2 . For some reason it cant read my ECU on my facelift CDti its comes up with Mode $06 not supported on this ecu any suggestions please

could it be your adapoter is not supported?

I bought the bluetooth one, EML327 i think. I have used it using my wifes Galaxy S3 and the app seems to do what it boasts, though I only wanted to check the fault codes.
One thing I have noticed is that the fault codes can have differing meanings, so is it interpreting the information to give the wrong code or is the code itself correct, but Torque apps description of it that is wrong? |
