Just bought one of these to stick in the boot........one never knows

LINK

I have a good used crank pulley, and the holding tool, and a handful of ECM.

Along with what Trikey plans sticking in his boot, that will probably preclude most common issues any diesel will be likely to suffer

Of course none of this stuff will actually be required, it's going to be plain sailing, or is that "Le Shuttling"

I'm sure that none of the precautionary measures will be needed, but it reassuring that they are in place.

Breakdown Insurance. I have just took out breakdown insurance with ETA insurance. They cover up to 20 year old cars. I have just paid £48.72 for 20/9/2019 until 23/9/2019, the time we are abroad. Good price I thought.

We can't have that, just think of all the flat Amstel beer you could buy with the money saved on not paying twice for one room

If somebody has a smartphone, you can download complete maps in Google Maps that can be used "offline".
That way you can plan an entire route without the need for internet. Just prepare yourself at home via the wifi.
During the event itself there might be free wifi to do something for the next day, or give me a shout and I'll turn on my phone's shared internet. (i've got lots of GB for the month).

Hi Chris. You wouldn’t have a disc for my new car, Rover75 Connie SE, for the sat nav unit in the boot would you? I am assured that it works but he damaged the last disc he had when he took it out, and then stood on it on the gravelled drive. He would not put it in again , to damaged.

As I read it (and I know no more than you are reading) if we wish to eat as a group on Friday evening they could offer a set/limited choice menu for us.
The hotel has also asked if we could give them some idea of numbers for breakfast on Saturday morning, at the moment it seems that only myself and Mrs G have booked breakfast.
If anyone would like dinner on the Friday evening (20th) or breakfast on the Saturday morning at the hotel could you please let me know..ASAP
I have a cut off point by this Sunday (15th) at 10pm.
If I have not heard from you by then I will assume that you are making your own plans for dining.

Cheers Ian
