Angry Banana in the wars again

I was forced into a brick built post by a stupid cow driving a Range Rover this morning. If I had not swerved then I would not be writing this. Oh! She was on the phone at the time. Width restriction and I had the right of way. She came flying through and the only place for me was to swerve hard to my left.

Luckily I was not travelling very fast, so damage is not to severe. Shook me up a fair bit though. The Range Rover then hit a stationary car. Owner was washing it at the time.

Have exchanged insurance details, and all the time she stayed on the phone.
Now need to get an estimate. Same door that the Mercedes Benz Sprinter hit.

Very sorry to see this, particularly when it's a car which is so obviously cherished!

Not a nice thing to see but I am sorry I would have got the police to attend and they would have checked her phone and seen a incoming/outgoing call the time the accident happened.

She will be fixed. Was going to take her off of the road to get some work done anyway. Just looks like it is going to be sooner than I thought.

Cool

The woman driving the Range Rover left the accident after exchanging details and drove straight to the police station to report the accident. She has taken full blame for the accident. I have now given a full statement to the police as well. As far as I know so has the owner of the stationary car.
I have now informed my insurance company.

That is some good news. Hope you can get it sorted with minimum hassle.

The one problem that may rear it's ugly head is the fact that if she never hit your car the insurance company might decline to pay out. I do hope this is not the case.

You need to get a car that is easier to see Bob as Banana obviously blends into the surroundings making it hard to spot..
Glad you are OK mate speak later.
Cheers Ian
