Default That is a beautiful car!

Hi

That is a fantastic looking car! I think the ZT looks great in red.

Nice one.

Thanks for taking the time to put the pics up, its really nice to hear what happened to it!

Never realised they did a mix 'n match of parts in that way between mk1 and mk2. Having said that, apart from the dash and a few little other things, the interior was mostly the same wasnt it?

No. 16 of only 52 Nocturne Blue 75/ZT ever produced. ONLY TEN of these were ZT 190+

No matter which way you look at it, they nailed the styling of the 75, it looks classically elegant in rover 75 guise, and brutally purposeful in MG ZT guise. Or to put it another way, why we won both wars.

It's mine, I bought it from Charlie. Everything is spot-on, the car was used by MG Rover originally for emissions testing at MIRA. I don't get the chance to use it a great deal now, so the mileage has barely moved in the past two & a half years. Have thought of selling but somehow just can't seem persuaded!

As I understand it, a few of the last mk1 cars were facelifted to more or less mk2 specification for use as press cars. There's a handful of them around and are affectionately known as mk1.5s

I have a MK1.5 too, #183.
It started life as a Mk1 but was pulled off the line and build to full Mk2 spec (inc traction control, LSD and cruise) for use as a press car, possibly making it the fist Mk2 spec 260

How much would it take to persuade you ?
