Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Think my last Rover meet was 2016 in Gretna, after that nothing springs to mind except maybe the odd Pride of Longbridge and even that was for sure before 2020.

My faithful silver 45 with all of its parts intact has gone to make fridges and washing machines. The metal maggots and tin worms had eaten away too much of the inner and outer sills sadly.

Am I correct in thinking you are Roverless?

Cracking film Steve, watched it a good few times and I still spot things I have missed before in the dialogue or scenery/background.

Recommend it for sure, plenty of second hand copies to be had either on eBay or the charity shop of your choice.

Got the BBQ brick base in place and built a top from Decking.
I really wanted to use a paving slab but nothing in available in the size of the base.

They seem to go from 600mm square to 100mm square. What I need is about 700mm square.

Never mind, it will suffice until I find something suitable or get a flagstone cut to size.

Need to set the bricks in place properly and slap some mortar on them and it will be all finished.

Just need to get the BBQ to stick on top then

I’ll watch for it on Sky to start with. The tour was interesting but I was glad when we had to hand back the radio. The tour guide knew her stuff but her constantly in my ear for about two hours was starting to bug me!

I don't have Sky, but it does appear to be available streamed from Sky Cinema or NowTV.

Been out in the garden this evening brushing red oxide primer onto an airtight inspection cover which is set into my patio. A little fiddly with it in-situ, plus a little hard on the knees and back, but better than removing it and leave the drain open for a few days.

I had intended to finish it using gloss black, but now with the red oxide on I am considering using post box red instead, thoughts?

It looks similar to this example.
