Nescafe 200g Gold Blend
I know at least one member on here enjoys this coffee.
Tesco have it at £4 until next Tuesday: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/produ.../?id=271207975 I just got ten jars, nice saving. If you buy this at Poundstretcher check the label, if the jars have foreign text on then it is a different strength (weaker than UK branded) I got that info after moaning to Nestle. Ken. |

Black tea? Yuk! Needs milk. I'm on the green tea currently. Doesn't taste the best but meant to be good for you and boost the immune system.

Have to say that both myself and Mrs P drink this http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/Pro...&storeId=10151 at home. A really nice tasting coffee and at just £6.60 for 500g, it seems to last ages.

I like the standard, no frills Nescafé Rav but, at that price, I think we might stock up on some Gold

Coffee capsules
Anyone use any of these pod/capsule type machines.
Are they any good, how many of the pods are compatible? There seems to be quite a range of shapes.

The trouble with those machines is the capsules are machine specific and by no means cheap. I looked at a Tassimo machine a while ago, three and four quid for 16 capsules. OK for a treat now and then but not for a "general" cuppa.

We've got a Tassimo and its ok now and again. I do like a latte from Costa so, bought some of the Costa pods, not even close to what you'd get from a Costa shop I'm afraid The pods are machine specific and quite expensive. We wait for supermarket offers and also had them from Amazon in the past. For me, you can't beat a mug of milky Nescafé

I also prefer a nice strong Nescafé, the costa ones are good but need real milk or something. I have taken to having their cappuccino.
Read somewhere that the EU told the coffee machine companies that they cannot restrict other makes from using the same shape pod. Back in September this year I think.
