Default reducing collection of cars

Hi All,

I have just bought a new toy (this pic for illustration only) and taking collection next Thursday

So I am going to reduce the collection and sell one of the cars. After discussions with the wife its going to be the Contemporary SE which we have owned for 3 years.

I will give her a good clean, mop, service and put her up for sale for members first on here before going onto the internet. We will miss this car but the Merc is a mapped C250 sport so is pushing 250 horses with 420 ib/ft torque

Reducing my collection too, but much older. How about a 1936 Rover 14 or a 1949 Rover P3. I might add these are for restoration!

Both lovely cars.

Be careful though, I posted an identical thread when I was getting rid of my moonstone saloon and it was moved to cars for sale even though I already had a buyer

Hi Jon, I would be quite interested in your 75 - have you got a price in mind?

Having seen Jons collection of vehicles and have had a nosey at this one I can say it's up to his usual standards. It's a lovely looking thing and will be a great buy whatever the price.

Are you going into the Wedding Car business. Can see you in Chauffeurs Hat.

You may have to put on a lot of weight to emulate Lady Penelope's Parker.
I can help. I have considerable form in that area!!!

Thomas that is very kind mate. None of my cars are perfect but i treat them all in the same way as I tend to keep cars for a while

Best of luck mate. Selling around Christmas is always tough. Saying that I have bought numerous cars at this time of the year

Thanks for the interest gents I am flattered . To be fair to members I will post it in the for sale section when I have done a couple of bits on it and i think its ready. In my eyes the Contemporary is the best model of this marque and it was quite a wrench to make the decision but the ZT project has had far too much of my time in it to move on and is a keeper

You're welcome, I found what happened with my thread quite bizarre

I'll look forward to seeing your ad when it does go up - contemporarys are fantastic when you get a good one - awful when you get one that hasn't been worshipped.

Yours has clearly been cherished - good luck
