U.S. Food Queue - Virus Caused
I've just seen an item on the news relating to the sad effect of the associated poverty now due to people losing their jobs and the need for some to be given food support........it's in the U.S. but they were highlighting the fact that this is now affecting the middle classes. Five hours some of these poor people were queuing, in their cars, following each other round a car park.
HOW STUPID CAN THEY BE? what's to stop them parking up and being called forward when it's their turn, without all of them wasting that fuel, and therefore the money they could spend on food. |

They may not have any money for food but there were quite a few brand new Mercedes in that queue!
I wonder just how many of them were just jumping on the “its free “ bandwagon? |

As far as American being stupid this reminds me of when I was in the RAF, one of the F16's landed at our base with some faults. The following day two transport aircraft turned up full of men and equipment to fix this aircraft. Some of the engineers had very specific jobs, one had the job of removing the panels, another was there to put them back on, one was on fault finding, another had to remove the failed part, another had to refit it and the so on and so on. No wonder they needed so many people to fix an aircraft. We would send a dozen men to do a similar job as we were all trained in many tasks and some tradesmen could even do multiple trades. |

Nothing new there SCP440, when I was a project manager liasing wih a US company, every question I asked needed a "specialist" to answer it.
No wonder so many Brits were involved in NASA work, our breadth of knowledge is far wider than the average American expert. |

Most of those shenanigans were a result of the fear of being sued, it's a snake pit.
