Default Fancy a New Rover 75 Rear Subframe?

For a little while now - well, about 12 months on and off - I've been trying to hunt down the firm that produced the rear subframe bushes for the 75 and ZT.

That chase, despite a fair few dead-ends, is still ongoing and I'm hopeful I will have some good news fairly soon.

However, in the meantime I was informed by FIACOM that you can get brand new Rover 75 rear subframes, bushed and ready to fit, for US$200.00 including shipping.

Part number is KHB000130 by the way if anyone wants to know.

If you are interested, please email Leo at FIACOM ([email protected]), tell him you are a member here and would like to know more details.

BTW, if you do go and get one I'd very much recommend shoving at least 1 big tin of this stuff inside the box sections and then over every square inch of the unit, especially on the upper side:

Thanks Pete.

I have a launch car that will be forever grateful.

I'm seriously thinking about getting one for The Beloved as the cost of overhaul (stripping, soda blasting, painting etc) will be not far off the price for a new subframe. The rest of the back end is in good order and I'd know it will stay that way for many more years with the unit and everything else blathered in Dynax-UB.

Email sent. Got to be a good idea when making a lasting restoration.

I hope they've got plenty in stock for the coming years, I'm sure many of us will be needing them at some time in the future.

Ali.

Pending the successful hunt in the UK; I'm wondering if there's a interest for a "group buy" with several (dozen?) of us putting up the £££'s ($$$'s) and someone (one of our lovely supporting traders - as they may like a few "spares" - ?) doing the "admin" to get them here?

Just an idea.

Andy.

Definitely interested in that idea Andy as one of my 75's is in desperate need of one and far easier to replace than restore.

If there's a group buy, I'd be up for getting it organised in the 10-12 days or so. I've negotiated a temporary stay of execution on the car which failed its MOT on a corroded subframe, but there needs to be a second car on the road by the first of September whether it's the current one being repaired or replaced.

I'd be interested in getting one for 'just in case'.
Haven't checked what's on now but I'm on holiday soon and will be spending a lot of time on both cars.
