Just looks like all the other garbage on the road these days - nothing unique, nothing idiosyncratic, nothing distinguishing ...

Let's hope it for the Chinese/Asian market as it would fit right in there...bland & basic with a little bling, give it a old British marque to help get interest....

Can you imagine if they launched that pile here, they'd get torn to shreds.

The motorists out east can't be all that fussy about what they drive, looking at some of the utter dross they seem to have???

If MG wants a slice of the LARGE van market, that has got to be a good thing... Yes! The more vehicles that wear an MG badge the better...

I don't think there is a van base people carrier out there that would win first prize in a beauty contest. These vehicles are not built for looks, more for their practicality, and I reckon the V80 looks pretty good for what it represents.

Van based people carries do well in many countries, and for MG to compete with the likes of Toyota with their Hiace, Nissan with their NV350 can only be a good thing.

Its great to see the rebirth of another British design.

I have to agree Dallas, it's nothing more than a minibus so as long as it's functional, reliable and durable, it's aesthetic looks shouldn't be too much of an issue.

If I was picked up in this, I wouldn't mind - I actually think it looks smart enough.

And for those that are not keen on 'badge engineering', let's not forget that all the MG Z-range are Rovers under the skin

My only comment is that it still has cart springs at the back....thought they'd died out years ago ??

And wasn't the Maxus originally a Russian design ?
