Today's little jobs was oil and filter then drained and flushed the cooling system with a hosepipe.
Took the heater pipes off and gave it a good flush through. Then filled with blue antifreeze

Finally got round to putting the cover back over the old girl while she waits on the drive for her turn for fettling. The wind ripped it off earlier in the week and damaged the fixing straps it was so vicious!
Grrrrrrrrr

Fitted the virginised ECU to the 1.8t, enabled a few dealer options and tweaked it to 160 while the T4 was plugged in (Amazing how I have never bothered to do this in the time I've owned the car??)
Found a set of sandstone carpeted heater panels and put them in too while I was in a fettling mood.

Last weekend did oil and filter, first since I got her. Reset oil service indicator. Lady wife and I away on holiday in her. Left Carlisle scenic route by Erskine bridge, Fort William to Embo as base. Did John o groats and lots of distillery tours. Got back after the pleasure 900miles driving her, not a pick of bother and what a soundtrack. She turned 84k as we got home, averaged 30mpg. Happy days.
