Morning all, a lovely lie in this morning, probably aided by three cans of Guinness, the first beer in over two months!

Morning all, phew! already red hot, just been down to pound stretcher to get some 6' canes and more grow bags, I think there's going to be a glut of tomatoes come Summer time My bluebells are finally out & the moggies are chilling on the cool kitchen floor.

How they've grown in such a short time.

Morning all - another nice sunny one too. It seems a tad cooler this morning, and reputedly getting more so as the week progresses, so we'd better make the most of today. We've been invited to the daughter's for a BBQ at lunchtime (her next door neighbour has just given her a gas fired one!) - I'll be driving, so I'll have to nip into Sainsburys and get some no alcohol cider

Good evening all, I'm on train sim duty tonight driving a class 158 sprinter from Liverpool Lime St to Warrington central and currently in Widnes station.

Isn't this the station where Paul Simon wrote 'Homeward bound'?

I'm singing it anyway with a cold bottle of Henry Weston

I'm sitting in the railway station
Got a ticket to my destination
On a tour of one-night stands my suitcase and guitar in hand
And every stop is neatly planned for a poet and a one-man band
Homeward bound.
