I know it's not intentional but it made dad extremely ill prior to going into hospital.
Hi Ian, even though your dad is DNR in his notes, he is still entitled to the best available treatment and your visit to see him will have given him a boost. The experience of your dads prescription reminds of my own nightmare. In 2011, I was prescribed blood pressure medication and unknown to me, it had an anti-diuretic in it. I kept on peeing all of the potassium out of my body. The blood pressure shot through the roof and my speech became slurred. In consequence, at the time this flared up. I became desperately ill and spent a week in ICU. Your dad is from a generation when no one complained of illness, they’d just get on with it and what is unquestionable is their ability to carry on despite the odds. Hopefully he is going to improve, positive thoughts.

Cool

Morning all from overcast Saltash.

Yesterday I took Emma and Ann to the garden centre at Carkeel, where I bought a lovely "Poppy" bird bath, matches a table I have. Anne bought a box of corn flakes from the grocers next door.

The next stop was the picturesque town of Looe, stuffed full with tourists but I know of a car park rarely used by tourists. I dropped the girls off and took Redfive off to park.
Then met up and had a wander through the narrow streets to the beach. The sea was like a mill pond.
Then we wandered back and went into 'Martins' bakery & ice cream parlour. We had coffee flavoured ice cream wafers topped with clotted cream. Oh! Yummy.
We also bought some freshly made scones and a tub of clotted cream.

I went and got the car and having collected the girls we then drove back via Kernow Mill at Truelefoot. The shop is owned by The Edingburgh Woolen Mill chain. After the girls had walked round, and bought a few bits, we retired to the restaurant for dinner. Saves me cooking.
Drove back towards home.
Whilst Ann made the tea I got Redfive, with Emma's help, covered up.

Banana's turn to come out to play today.
