Default How much was your first car?

Mine was a 1956 morris 1000 and cost £10.I was an telephone apprentrice engineer on £8 a week.

1989 Peugeot 205 XLD that cost £625... I was a student on £0 a week

Was on 189k and running sweet when sold three years later for £200. Do many of today's small cars get to that kind of mileage often?

Mine was a racing green rover 213 for £1000 . It was in really good nick until I prooved what a rubbish driver I was . . 4 days after getting it.

Mine was a 1978 marina van cost £275 and it wasn't 6 years old! Didn't stop it been a right heap of ***** though!

Black 1940 Daimler DB 18 with preselector gearbox seal leaking, Price £100 but cost me another £50 sorting out the worn rear drive shaft and new oil seal. I was a Tech Apprentice (mech) engineer, can't remember my wage though..

Red mini 1000 , reg. no. RSR 365 N . Was first car , cost £200 and £500 to insure as i had lost my liscence for drink driving when i was sixteen whilst driving my first bike an Suzuki AP 50 . Was earning £26 pound a week on y.t.s. in 1987 .

mine was d reg pug 205 1.1 cost £200 (7 years ago) insure TPFT was £1800, so glad my insurance has come down a lot a now,

1977 R-Reg Roman Bronze Ford Capri 2.0GL Auto for £400 (borrowed from dad) when I had just passed my test and was earning £50 a week as an apprentice joiner back in 1988.

Them was the days More than a fortnight ago...
