My 75 CDTI
Good morning everyone,
I have a 2004 CDTI auto with 92k on the clock and I have noticed when you are sat at idle the revs fluctuate and you can see the rev needle move. I have yesterday replaced the Air Mass Meter with a Piterburg MAF from EURO Car Parts I use them all the time and the man I always use recommended this one at its better than the Bosch. I am getting reading from it so I don’t think it this. Power delivery is fine and smooth as well, I am wondering if I have a blocked injector or something similar. Can any one help? I would appreciate it. Regards, Adam |

Just a comment ..never seen a Pierburg that is compeletely compatible with the 75/zt .
The motor will run , but its no going to perform properly ! . it will tend to overfuel even more than standard C.

I also though it was strange but this is what was listed as a direct replacment for the Bosch. It cost £102 including the VAT even with my discount.
The car is driving fine and the Power is at it normal level. |

Forget glow plugs ,only useful for Siberian people .
Try disconnecting successively each injector plug and note what are the differences. |

I took it to a chap i used to know, he was a master tech for rover for 20 years and now has his own garage. He plugged it into T4 and said thats the only error it came back with. He did say they are always on but the voltage drops when the engine is running.
He also looked at all my other levels when on T4 and said it was all fine so well pleased with that. I though i would change them anyways as i can do it my self and the glow plugs are cheap enough. |
