Sounds exactly like my first Marina cost me £80, had to take a petrol tank out of the back of a Datsun 180B which was mounted in the boot and put it in the boot of my Marina. The Marina was on it's second tank because they had more holes in them than a tea bag. Had to cut a hole in the rear quarter for the filler cap. When I think back on it now it was probably a bomb waiting to go off, but I loved that car.

Not my very first car, but my Wolseley 16/60 rather aptly cost £60.

It was a lovely car, it had a walnut dash, leather seats and a chrome grill.
