I don't think I found any surprises on my car because I had the owners handbook for two weeks before getting the car. I must have read it twenty times

Having said that I still struggle with the little wheel by the clock

Before you ask I have read the thread regarding it but I am still lost at times http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=1056

Keith: my 75 doesn't have a switch to disable the rear electric windows. Are the wires already there to do it?

Chris: does the switch come with the Powerfold kit or is it a separate purchase?

There is no "kit" as such - you need to purchase two powerfold mirrors and the new switch pack .... if the wiring is in place you are good to go ... if not, some swearing and scratched knuckles, and hours later you will be good to go ...

Took me 5 years of R75's (and a failed drivers door lock on remote) to find out that if your open the car with the key and hold the key in the open position all 4 windows will open. Similarly if you hold key in close position they will all close.

Dont think key locking activates alarm so must use remote after key to lock/alarm car.

What else dont I know ???

That is a Testbook enabled option - so some may not have this ... but can do if they shuffle off to their nearest (ex)dealer ...

Wow, i would love powerfold mirrors. How much were they, and how difficult were they to fit. How do you control them???

Apparently 1.8 engined 75s are fitted with a head gasket that is designed to self destruct at 15,000 miles

Ummm....you can put petrol in the diesel by mistake but provided it is less than 10% of the total fuel in tank you will get away with it! (Advice from the AA after putting 1/2 gallon of petrol in the CDTi this morning - why? WHY did I do that?) Happily I was able to add 52 litres of diesel and Redex. The car seems not to have noticed anything amiss...
