The Tourer went into volume production in the middle of June 2001. The first ones were delivered to dealers in the last week of July.

Mine is 217005 built 08/06/01 which was pre volume production and was a demonstator for Dixon Rover York first registered on the 30/07/2001.
It's a Connie with a sunroof and all has all the pre project drive bits that were deleted from the volume cars.

There is a possibility that yours too was a demonstrator for the supplying dealer
