Never been there, but googling it, looks quite nice, plenty of room in the car park and as long as the cafe is open, then it should be fine.

The same goes for Bishops Lydeard (WSR)

Excellent. I will try and get some info about both venues and post it up. Silly question as this is the First meet I have organised, what would you like to do? I kind of thought that we could park up, have a chat and catch the train to somewhere along the line, have a meal then catch the train back to the cars?

Hey no worries , i will bring a couple of gallons of the village scrumpy ........problem is nobody will be driving home (walking will also be an issue )

Btw http://www.winkleighcider.com/........... the autumn mix dry scrumpy is very palatable at the moment

How about start with just a get together check out each other's cars, swap notes and a cuppa at the cafe and go from there?

The train service may be running less this time of year.

Kai, I shall have to venture over to Winkleigh, the cider sounds good!!

Did I tell you I am a big Wurzuls fan.....
