The first Rover was a tricycle manufactured by Starley & Sutton Co. of Coventry, England,

James Starley was a fascinating chap and its thanks to one of his inventions that cars go round corners ok.
He's also the chap who reinvented the wheel :¬)
And one of the reasons I'm a fan of Ariels as well as Rovers.
