The C3 was originaly the ZX 1.9D Turbo and in it's day, that was a very very fast lil car.. In fact they still go like stink today I'm told!

Your stretching credibilty to say the C3 bears any relationship to the ancient ZX other than the Citroen badge and logo!

Things have moved on thank goodness, and modern cars are a lot stronger and safer, are more refined, better built and don't rust.

As regards the BMW petrol engine - direct injection, high compression ratio, 11psi boost pressure, 154bhp from 1.6L, 40mpg, and max torque from 1400rpm.
In the ZX days you'd have been laughed out of the room if you'd came out with those specs for a turbo petrol motor.
