I have belonged to clubs which have disappeared and I am absolutely sure it's the lack of a decent forum. I enjoy the banter, the opinions and especially, when needed, the help. I also like the ability to add my twopennyworth as I may have experienced similar problems to that item raised.

I really wouldn't like to see a change to our current status quo, why break something that works as well as it does.

I have to agree with Simondi:-

Let's not continue to dwell on this discussion, it's the cars that matter.

Still subscribing and I haven't owned a 75 for over 6 years!

Like many others have said, very happy to subscribe.

I just wonder how many of you are also on the various FaceBook groups? There seems to be two or three (at least) that cover just the ZTs alone let alone the combined 75 & ZT's plus regional groups.

By definition, no charge and every day you see the same "how do I" and "what could be the cause of this" type of question. Almost all have answers in this forum's archives. It's just a shame that those owners are not all on here (sure some are - the ones with the answers probably) and paying their tenners.

Myself and others do plug the owners club as much as possible but, ultimately, if we could all pull together we would have so much more potential.

I would pay £10 per year just for the pleasure of reading the posts.

I would pay the £10 just for the pleasure of the odd disagreement with my friend DarcyDog.

All the info on the cars is a bonus on top.

I am surprised at the club allowing people who join? It just to sell their cars, never to be seen again after two/three posts. This I think should not be allowed. There. I’v said it.

Should they be made to post regularly for a period of time after they have sold their car?

Hi Paul. I like your comment ‘works in a fashion ‘. Yes it most certainly does. When I found the club site, I thought what a great site it was. Free access to mind boggling cures for different ills on our cars, so I joined when I bought the car in 2008 .
The only thing I have noticed is that it appears that people have only come on the site to sell there car, never to be seen again. I think that we have a great club here, and long may it continue. The only other thing is the mention of remanufacture of some almost obsolete parts, and perhaps if people had a ‘probationary period’ of three months without contributing to the running of the club, and then had to join and pay the ‘fee’, it would be advantageous to us all in many ways. I.E. as suggested, sourcing obsolete parts. Just my thought on the matter.

Hi Maninder. No I don’t think they should be made to post on something they probably have no interest, only getting rid of their cars. Full stop.
In this world, I have found, there are ‘givers and takers’ .I leave you to work out what I mean.

We all contribute, some financially, some technically, some by just being interested.
I have been a "freeloader" for my entire life, yet contributed my share.

I feel fully entitled, if you wish!
