Question T4 Diagnostics with Synergy 2 connected

Hi All, I've been having some cutting out problems with my 2002 CDT (detailed in this thread: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...42#post2058142) and I've got it booked in to a garage with the testbook diagnostics kit on Thursday. I was wondering whether I should disconnect my Synergy 2 module before going down though? Is it going to affect the readings at all? Is it likely to freak the garage out and blame the little black box for all my woes?

Thanks.

I don't know if it's show up much difference, it might tho. If it was me I'd disconnect the Synergy so as not to cause any potentially out of ordinary results. Easy to disconnect and reconnect later.

I would bring it back to standard as much as possible, so yes it is a good idea to remove your synergy box.

You may wish to check the HP sensor plug connector pins have not been spread by the synergy being plugged in before reconnecting it to the HP rail sensor.

It would be a shame to find that is all that's wrong in the first place

Or alternately leave it in place, any T4 operator who knows what they're looking for is going to see anomalies in the HP regulator readings, and HP sensor reading in any case

Checked the plugs Brian, all looks okay. I keep hoping it's going to be something really simple (read: cheap) that I've overlooked
