I thought about angle grinding them out but didn't have access to a suitably small angle grinder . I'm not sure the 12" one my neighbour has would have fitted........

Time for a car boot - cheers arctic. I had looked at your thread - honest - and thought I had enough spanners .

I'm bound to have to do this for myself sooner rather than later so watch this space.
