I'd check the back of the IPK to make sure everything is plugged in properly.

Does indicate a faulty sensor or damaged cable Bri.

Worth checking for corrosion in the connector on the ABS itself, or short circuits anywhere on the cable.

A testbook session would confirm which sensor, but with speedo not working I'd start with FR.

Are there any other symptoms / lights?

It is off topic, but it is nice to see that you have made a safe trip back home Brian. It was very nice meeting you again in Witten. Greetings to Eve and you from Holland.

Take care,

Rob.

You pick up ABS and speedo from right (afaIr) front wheel. The sensor sits in a hole on the brake/hub assembly and takes up pulses here. It is possible you have dirt in/on/around the area preventing the signals to be picked up.
I would start by cleaning here and blowing out dust. Don inhale! Inspect the wire from here up to the snap connector in the engine bay. Open this and check that everything is OK.
If this does not work, then T4 might be the next step.
