Sorry to hear that Rich - as you know, we're in the midst of family medical traumas ourselves at the moment, so you have our sympathy.
Hopefully, the coronary experts will be able to come up with a solution.

What a day I've had - there I was, laid in bed, considering getting out, at 8.27am this morning when the 'phone went. Son - "Dad - I know I told you I didn't need you to give me a lift back from the garage after dropping my car in - but my mate's let me down - so can you come and get me?". So I dash around, jump in the car unshaven and worse - unfed, and off I go. Got back home about 9.30am, leaving me half an hour to tidy myself up and attend a Care Assessment meeting with Social Services and my sister. An hour and a half of form filling later, I manage to snatch some cheese ('cos I've got tons of it!) and biscuits for breakfast AND lunch. Next thing, my elderly, widowed, next door neighbour is knocking at the door - her doorbell has stopped working. Manage to dismantle the bell push, to find it full of spiders (aaargh!) and a well corroded L50 12v battery - about the only type I DON'T keep as a spare. 1.00pm - we're off to do the weekly shop for sister and ourselves, which now comprises visits to Morrisons, Yorkshire Trading (for neighbour's door bell battery), Aldi, Iceland and Lidl. No sooner have we packed the stuff away than my son is on the blower - "my car's ready at the garage Dad - can you drop me off to collect it?"
4.30pm and I THINK we're finished for the day. There are two bottles of cider, some Indian Tonic Water and a fresh lemon in the fridge - and a 1 litre bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin in the wine cabinet. If that lot doesn't relax me - I'll start on the Capt. Morgan's Spiced Rum

Update; he had a stent put in one aryery this morning, and one of the bypass arteries needs doing again, whicj will be arranged for about 3 months time. Better news than expected, but still not great.

Good news then Richard. I hope the next one will make all his problems go away.
I had a Stent put in in 2004. Had absolutely no problems since.

Not even get out of breath.--

Good morning all, good morning Richard. He will be one of the lucky ones getting another chance. Some don’t get that if their cardio-vascular system is completely shot or they are not fit for surgery. The stent he had put in, was a good result. I understand your anxiety.

Any plans for the weekend?
