Default Tyres

When I bought my 75, the tyres had about 5mm of tread on them. 6k miles later they are down to just over 2mm. I don't have a particularly heavy right foot and the tyre wear is even. I would have expected a bit more life from the tyres (Dunlop SP Sports). I was wondering what sort of tyre life others were getting. On my previous car (Rover 600) I would get 15 to 20k from the fronts and forever from the rears.

New tyres have 9mm depth so your 3mm getting you 6k equates to a new tyre giving you around 14k.

Dunlop sport are quite soft so thats about right by your own driving history.

I find the passenger front wears a little more mainly due to the way I drive on roundabouts.

i got about 14k out of a set of goodyear hydrogrips.the rears wore quicker than the front that was on the 15'' rims..the nexons that i have on my 18'' 11 spokes seem to wear more evenly, but a lot more tyre noise
