VDO CD413 Standard MGR headunit
As title.
came out of a 55 registered ZR. used for about a month before it was removed and put on a shelf. Comes with the ISO leads and user manual/stickers. These are over £300 from a dealer and £150 in the shops. Offers? |

Paul, could you please display the Price you want to comply with club rules.
This is to prevent a Dutch auction starting up on the Forums as this has brought serious problems to members in the past. (no reflection on yourself of course). Thank you for your co-operation. You can of course post links to an EBay auction of an item. |

Apologies, I'm afraid I don't know what these are worth (ebay/forums draw a blank)
erm, I really am open to offers. How about £40 + postage - any good to anyone? |

You may want to clarify also if it is a 413 or 413x
The 413x is "Roverised" to work with our steering controls. The 413 needs an adaptor.

I assume that it does not work with the steering controls?
The standard VDO resistive network is completely different to the Rover version. I'm no expert on this but I do know that the 213/413 etc will NOT work on MGR cars without an adaptor. I think these adaptors are now impossible to get. The 213x/413x are modified to work with our cars. I had to modify my steering controls to work with a non-Roverised VDO unit.

The ZR did not come with steering controls, so that makes sense.

this is a photo of the same item (stolen from ebay!)
The plugs at the back are to a standard ISO loom. I thought the small rovers of the same era still got the steering wheel controls? //actually, that one on ebay is a 413x - but the layout is the same. |
