FS - Biltema random orbital polisher - dual head, variable speed + pads

As title.

Got too many polishing machines now, so I need to get rid of my faithful Biltema. Got it from a member on .org, has been solid and tackled a fair few cars with ease.

They are the same shape and layout as the cyclo ones - but with the added bonus of being variable speed - great for working different types of polish and glaze.

The Machine is UK 3 pin - no need for a transformer (although I have cracked the plug when I took it out of the bag this morning, will get this replaced!)

Machine also comes with some pads, a set of light cut, set of polish and a set of finishing (which are all used, but OK) A new set of heavy cut and a new set of light cut/finishing. These alone are worth over £50 and will last forever! Because they have a velcro backing plate, any 3.5"/4" pads will fit, without the need for a second set of backing plates.

If you need some polish to start off with, let me know and if I have something suitable I will get you enough to do a car to get you started!

Because of the size I would prefer collection, but I could probably get DHL/Parcelforce to come and collect it for around a tenner.

I'm looking for £50

collection from Birmingham B71 2 - J1 off M5 or J9 off M6 (both 2 mins away) Happy to meet close by for anyone coming a long way.

Postage will be around £10 due to size.

I've awlays considered one of these but am a tad worried that i may end up damaging the paintwork when using one.

How easy is this to use?

Because it is random orbital you do not run the risk of burning through the paint like you would with a rotary.

few lines of polish, set it to speed two to spread it, crank it up to speed 4 for several passes then back to speed two to get it to haze and then buff off with a microfibre!

This was the tool of choice for me until I mastered the art of using a rotary!
