One thing I could do with some help with is changing the Rover logo on start up to MG. Jeff and I tried the usual codes but no joy. And when we tried 0000 - the unit shuts down and reboots itself.

So any thoughts on what I am doing wrong and the correct code to get to the logo options menu?

Sean
There has been a number of correspondence between me and both you and Jeff regarding the issues. I also spoke to Jeff on a number of occasions. The installation was done by Klarzy.
The GPS aerial is placed at the top of the windscreen and to try this outside means I have to de-glue this. What would be the resolve if it it works outside?
The camera worked initially for a short period about a month and then intermittently and then failed totally.
The DTV box was replaced after sending this to Jeff for testing when it was found to be defective and you confirmed a possible bad batch. The app opens but will not detect channels.
When you say return the unit do you mean the DTV box or the head unit?

Hi Sean - tried 9999 but when I touch the green 'OK' button on the touch screen the numeric pad disappears leaving the 'Common' menu list.

i.e no logo options come up?

Any thoughts?

KR

Clive

PS - also iGo worked perfectly yesterday morning but in the afternoon it could not find satellite signal.

But just gone out and checked it this a.m. And it's working fine.

Again - any thoughts?

Sometimes the navigation can struggle to get a lock.
I find quitting Igo and starting it again usually gets it to lock onto the signal.

I'll have to let Sean speak to you on the password problem though!

Thanks Jeff - I was sure you tried 9999 - plus lots of others!

I'm paranoid about trying other numbers after seeing what happens with 0000

So is 9999 what should give me the option to change the logo?

Because as I say - nothing happens when you press ok - apart from the numeric keyboard on the touch screen disappearing!

And now I have a bigger issue - as Jeff will confirm my SWC's are u/s so unti I fit the new SW I am doing it all via the units controls -

Well, I think I must have inadvertently touched the sat Nav SD card when adjusting the volume because when I got in this afternoon and shut the door, the SD card shot out of its slot and disappeared under the seat

Anyone else had this?

The air in side the ZT-T matched the Trophy Blue exterior for quite some time as I searched for the thing - in the rain....

So - I have to assume that this possibly poorly fitted SD card could be the cause of my unreliable Sat Nav.

So next question - if I cannot find it in the morning - and if a replacement is needed then what are my options?

I quite liked the iGo - especially the "you are exceeding the speed limit" warning - but I would be interested in other options.

The good news is I found the SD card - very difficult to see against dark grey carpet - slotted it back in and sat Nav back

But after lunch - back in the car - no satellite signal this despite the fact that the damn thing directed me to where I stopped for lunch !!!

What is going on?
