Mk1 v Mk2 door cards
Hi,
Recently bought a mark 2 connie. The door cards are in a poor condition, and seem to have a different covering to those in my Mk1. Is it possible to buy Mk1 door cards and fit them in a Mk2? Are any of the clip positions different? Phil |

Just make sure you have the correct fasteners to ensure the cards do not come loose. Dave T |

You really need one of these clips on each door card, fitted near the lock button. They makes sure your door card are well secured.
Rover MG Part EKM100270 Unfortunately none on Ebay at the moment but should be available from Rimmer bros. These clips are fit only once as they break on removal. Dave T |

I totally agree. The substitutes are not up to the job.
The proper OEM clip made a difference to my driver's door card: Before: After:
