Hi Cyclops,

Russ's info is spot on,( hope you got the harness with your unit. If not it is available from rimmers for a small charge.)

Simply put, its three wires, switched live, negative and info to message centre. Auto on is from ign switch so as soon as you turn on the unit fires up giving you the logo on the mess centre. Worth noting that when I installed mine it annoyed the h*ll out of the wife, she crosses the motorway on the way to work every morning and it used to bleep away telling her how busy the motorway was even though she didn't go on it. I have since installed a switch on the black wire, this enables me to turn it off manually if needed.

Let us know if you need any more info / help

Hi Russ how you keeping? Me and my old bus would be up for a social evening if enough interested

Has anybody else noticed this or do I have some strange fault? Switch on rear fogs and (on the hi-line pack) the symbol appears large at first, then shrinks to the top left of the screen, now if the Traffic Master ecu picks up a signal it overwrites the rear fog light symbol, but not vice versa! Now tell me everyone 'suffers' from this, both the hi-line pack and Traffic Master are retro-fit.

I haven't noticed this happen yet but I do know that some symbols have precedence over others, ie a warning symbol may overwrite an information symbol. Usually, the two can co-exist (one top of screen, one lower)

A similar situtation can occur on the computer display. Say if you've got the fuel consumption displaying and then a low-fuel indicator pops up after the low-fuel indicator disappears the screen turns blank so I have to press the stalk button to get the fuel consumption on screen again (but only one press rather than going through all the other options first).

Mine too is a retrofit Highline IPK.

My trafficmaster seems to "mask" other displays, for example turn off the traction control when the TM is off and it shows full screen for a few seconds then reverts to smaller emblem top left hand corner of screen. Now with TM active, when i turn off traction control is shows full screen for a few seconds, then disappears and is as such hidden by TM. This seems to concour with other posts. Hope this gives peice of mind to all retrofix TM's
