Default Please help! Throttle issue

Hi all, just took of and cleaned my throttle body to try and deal with a stalling issue. All went well with no problems. Refitted it and now as soon as it starts it flies upto 4k revs for a while and then drops to 2 to 2.5 and hunts visiously as if you were revving the engine. I didn't touch the tps during the clean but I did use a Rimmers iacv kit (gasket, seal, white plastic thing). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Gav

I should add that I've already sprayed wd40 around the throttle body to manifold joint and other connections to see if there's an air leak but doesn't appear to be any.
Cheers

The iacv looks like a similar design to the one I replaced on my dad's scenic after fitting it needed setting which we did by turning the ignition on and off each time we did the the plunger on the iacv moved out a few mill at a time.

Not sure if similar set up to what you have but might be worth a go till someone with a few more brain cells than me tell you the correct way

It might worth doing a throttle position sensor re-set.

The TPS reset procedure is:
Fully depress and release the throttle pedal 5x with the ignition turned to on.

That is with the ignition on, but not with the engine running.
