1.8 exhaust diameter
I have just checked the date for MOT on my Wifes normally aspirated 1.8 and realised it is imminent.
Last year we had a slight blow right on the join where the centre pipe slid into the slightly widened portion of the pipe on the backbox, basically the centre pipe at that point was perforating at the join. I managed to weld it up and it passed ok then but it is starting to blow from the same place again now. I was thinking of placing one of those exhaust sleeves over the join and wondered if anyone knew the diameter of the exhaust pipe. I am hoping to order one this evening if I can. Thanks. |

The 1.8 NA pipe is 50mm OD.
