high revs/speed eng prob
cars just started misbehaving at high speed and when i floor it through the gears.
when going at about 100mph and i floor it she will pull back a bit as though its a misfire or fuel delivery problem, and when i floor it through the gears by the time im at 70mph it will start to pull back again but even more like a missfire, strange i have changed all the filters recently with no probs and it will usualy go right up to an indicated 125+ ,and have also just changed the exhaust plus cat with no probs. i was wondering if it could be the fuel pump the sits next to the battery as it has been a little noisier just lately and did take a while to start from cold the other night, but other than that she runs and starts ok, the car is a diesel with 156k on the clock, any ideas please..... Could well be a fuel problem. Not being a diesel man I will leave it to out diesel experts on here to help you further but hopefully this little bump to your thread will aid your cause
